Mercato ni Nanay Ces, household composting to resume

Feb. 22, 2021 ...

The Office of the Vice Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos is planning to resume some of its initiatives, particularly the "Mercato ni Nanay Ces" and "Household Composting," after months of postponement due to outbreaks in the Capital City.

According to Vice Governor Araneta-Marcos, the "Mercato ni Nanay Ces," which helps local businessmen boost sales amidst pandemic, was successful last year because of the active participation of micro, small and medium enterprises.

However, this year, the mini trade fair will only be conducted quarterly.

Moreover, Vice Governor Araneta-Marcos, in cooperation with the Environment and Natural Resources Office, will restart as well the distribution of Household Composting Kits to reduce domestic wastes in the province.

We are in partnership with persons deprived of liberty in the making of pails.
