Ilocos Norte rolls out 3rd wave of relief distribution to over 16,000 Ilokanos

May. 28, 2020 ...

Continuing to augment essential supplies for families most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office rolled out its third wave of relief distribution to over 16,000 beneficiaries.

The target demographics of the recent relief distribution were frontliners, solo parents, persons with disabilities, and senior citizens.

May natitirang dalawang lungsod at tatlong munisipalidad paTuloy-tuloy itong pamamahagi natin ng ayuda hanggang lahat ay mabigyan," Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Mrs. Corazon Lilian Celia Rin said.

Less than 70,000 and 43,000 beneficiaries were likewise given relief goods in the first and second waves of relief distribution, respectively.

Moreover, Mrs. Rin assured that the province has enough relief items for the typhoon season.

Mrs. Rin added.
