Sirib scholarship makes future "public servants," says beneficiary

Jun 11, 2018 ...

Emphasizing the great role of young leaders in the society, Ilocano youth leader Jaypee Carl Respicio lauds the Sirib Scholarship program of the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte for its holistic development and growth.

Jaypee is a beneficiary of the Sirib Young Leader Scholarship (SYLS) of PGIN - Ilocos Norte Youth Development Office (INYDO) and one of the 160 SYLS scholars who graduated this year.

Sharing the experience and benefits he gained from the scholarship:"Naging mas malapit ako sa mga tao, sa kapwa ko kabataan.

The current Chairman of Sirib Ilokano Kabataan Association Inc. - Marcos Town, Jaypee is a former Sangguniang Kabataan chairman (2010-2013).

Jaypee received his Bachelor's Degree in Technical Teacher Education  last Friday, June 8, 2018, at the Sunken Garden of the Mariano Marcos State University. He received the Latin honor of cum laude.

He was also given the Student Leader Award given by the MMSU - College of Industrial Technology (CIT); and lauded Most Outstanding Ilocano in Community Volunteerism and Most Outstanding Ilocano in Academic Excellence by the INYDO.
