PGIN Task Force Trabaho opens 'Saguip Nars' application for 2017Nov 08, 2016
In order to provide continuous assistance to local nurses, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte's (PGIN) Task Force Trabaho opened applications anew for 'Saguip Nars' Program for the year 2017.
Officer-in-charge of Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Lizette Bitancor said 100 slots for registered nurses are available for the first batch.
Qualified applicants will render six months of service in different rural health units and district hospitals across the province from January to June 2017.
Unemployed Ilocano nurses as well as recent board passers are all welcome to apply at PESO which is located at Ilocos Norte Centennial Arena, second floor south wing building in Laoag City.
Applicants should pass the following requirements: application letter; resumé; and photocopies of transcript of records, diploma, NSO birth certificate, and certificates of trainings and/or related experiences.
Photocopies of PRC license as well as PRC Board Rating or Certificate of Passing also need to be presented.
Deadline of submission of applications will be on Friday, November 11, 2016.
The 'Saguip Nars' Program was launched in 2014 under Governor Imee Marcos' administration in order to provide clinical experience to unemployed nurses and new board passers which they need in landing permanent jobs.
PGIN Task Force Trabaho has also offered a free online health care training wherein local nurses underwent clinical data management and research in a Business Process Outsourcing setting.
Through the program, registered nurses can have the chance to search for alternative jobs while enhancing their medical skills.
In her State of the Province Address on October 28, 2016, Governor Marcos said that PGIN will continue its support to Ilocano nurses who want to work abroad by creating more employment opportunities as well as holding PRC licensing, mobile passporting, and overseas workers loan program.
